  • That's how you spell it correctly - SAMEsung. If you don't have any clue why, you have a problem. But one thing that you missed is IDC compared the 1Q 2012 sales between Apple and SAMEsung as ACTUAL versus ESTIMATE.

  • The trumpet blower for SAMEsung, IDC, does the dirty job again of hyper-inflating the SHIPPED numbers for SAMEsung even as SAMEsung stopped reporting their SHIPPED numbers because they cannot keep up anymore with Apple .

  • RIM's ribbing of Apple in their mock "Wake Up" protest at Apple stores in Australia is classic RIM in a deep coma hanging on to its dear life. Blackberry 10 will not give them a "shock in the chest" as it will push them further down until they decide to pull the plug and sleep forever.

  • @seriously_1: The answer is better marketing and customer cultivation without a doubt! Same reason why the iPad is still the only successful tablet in its price range. Every product that comes close to charging Apple Prices gets trounced.
